our story is simple.
The brand was born out of our own personal need to access quality sport sunglasses at more affordable prices. Countless hours, days and months of research led us to take action and do it ourselves, for ourselves.
The result was astonishing and needed to be shared. But, there were questions: Can we design and develop quality sunglasses, and on scale? Can we keep it sustainably affordable and not compete with Big Enterprise? Can we build a brand that is bespoke, approachable, easy going and just lekker? Is it possible to do all this and give back to our community supporting the underdog?
Absolutely... and Wombat was born.
